Achievement

Ten families living in the Boeng Am Pil village harvest their crops together. As recipients of rice seeds from the AVCLM seed project, these families are now on the road to self-sufficiency.

AVCLM founder Chandra visits the Boeng Am Pil village in Sdao Commune Ratanak Mondul District, Battambang Province, where he donated rice seeds to 10 families in 2006 as part of his program to rebuild Cambodia. This photo was taken in 2007, when he returned to monitor the progress of those 10 families over the year.

This woman is one of the mine victims whose family received rice seeds from AVCLM`s Seed Project in 2006. This photo shows her happiness after a successful harvest in 2007, which ensures that her family will have enough food and seeds for the whole year.

The families of these two women also benefited from successful harvests in 2007 after receiving rice seeds from AVCLM’s Seed Project the year before. The harvest will be enough to feed their families for the entire year.

Mr. Rouen is collecting palm juice from this tree, which he will then use to make palm sugar to sell. He got a small loan from AVCLM, and now he is running his own successful business.

Mr. Chouen Sam At is a field manager for AVCLM. He monitors the farms in his village and records how many pounds of rice grows in a season.

Aid for Victims of Cambodian Landmine has donated this Tractor to the "Seed Project" in 2006. They use this Tractor for plowing their rice field.
