We offer self-sustaining solution for mine victim’s families in Cambodia. Our goal is to rescue them from poverty and starvation one community at a time.

Rescue Cambodia takes a “whole community” approach to assistance. The process of rebuilding the country becomes the process of rescuing Cambodian villages, one at a time, and everyone becomes involved in fixing the problems of his or her own village. Rescue Cambodia will continue to assist and monitor the progress of each community for 10 years until the community is able to sustain itself.

The villages in Cambodia and in other parts of the developing world have seen successful rescue efforts before. What makes AVCLM's Rescue Cambodia project different is that it brings these solutions together at the community level, helping families at the grassroots level so that progress and success become rooted in every community.

The details of our approach have developed from discussions with people from many Cambodian villages. Our approach incorporates all the elements that are critical to reclaiming the Cambodian family and community.
