Days 34-40: The end (Calgary and B.C.)
Just like last year, I found myself enjoying my return home a little too much, resulting in me completely forgetting to finish the blog. Well, here it is now. Days 31-34: Camp days pt.2 & further into Alberta
Arghhhhh!!! I slept in for the morning of Day 31, feeling exhausted from the lengthy journey. While I was sleeping, the kids were treated to two great camp Little Red activities: horseback riding and archery. From what I heard, archery proved to be rather difficult, as none of the Cambodians had ever touched a bow before. Days 27-30: Camp days in Alberta, Pt.1
Tong always wanted to be a model. From October 12-18, we were graciously hosted at Camp Little Red. We arrived at the camp late on October 12, the same day that saw us spend time with my brother's family. We met Gordon, the camp director, who immediately won over the kids with his wacky behaviour.
